MSI Optix G253PFDE: Full HD gaming with a high refresh rate

The MSI Optix G253PFDE offers an anti-reflective display with a diagonal of 24.5 inches in 16:9 format and Full HD resolution . Thanks to its IPS panel with a typically high contrast of 1,000:1 , high color space coverage and viewing angle stability, the monitor offers a very attractive picture. With its refresh rate of 380 Hz and a very low response time of just 1 ms MPRT or GtG, the monitor is also suitable for fast-paced FPS titles.

Using NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, the refresh rate is flexibly adjusted in combination with compatible graphics cards. This prevents tearing and enables a smoother gaming experience. The gaming monitor displays 1.073 billion colors and achieves a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² .

The IPS panel offers excellent viewing angles of 178 degrees , meaning colors are displayed pristinely from almost any perspective. In addition, there is a typically high contrast of 1,000:1 for a high-contrast, defined image.

In addition to its performance features, the MSI Optix G253PFDE also offers some features that protect the health of users. The integrated blue light filter reduces blue light emissions from the screen to reduce eye strain during longer gaming sessions. This effect is also promoted by the flicker-free technology , so that even using the monitor for several hours is not a problem.

Design, ergonomics and connectivity

The MSI Optix G253PFDE has very narrow display bezels at the top and sides and impresses with its modern design. The casing is black and looks good in any setup. The stand allows the display to be tilted 5 degrees forward and 20 degrees backwards and can be adjusted in height by 130 mm. Alternative monitor mounts can be mounted via VESA 100 x 100 mm .

The monitor offers two HDMI inputs and a DisplayPort connection as signal inputs . The audio signal can be forwarded to external speakers or headphones via the 3.5 mm jack socket .
